There are so many different fruit, nuts and cereals flavour combinations you can try to vary up your usual breakfast bowl. One of my recent favourites is this summer inspired yoghurt bowl; exotic sweet mango combined with sharp fresh raspberries with layers of crunchy granola and toasted almonds.
I love to use Quark in my yogurt bowls which technically is not yoghurt but a soft cheese which has a thick creamy texture and taste much like Greek Yoghurt. What’s great about Quark is that is very high protein with 11g of protein per 100g. Which is perfect for fueling my workouts and keeps me full for pretty much the whole morning.
I love berries because they are packed full of micronutrients; vitamins and antioxidants, sweet and light on calories. This dish is healthy but feels like your eating dessert for breakfast with very little effort.
- 125g raspberries
- 65g mango
- 30g granola
- 10g toasted almonds or coconut
- 150-250g 0% greek yoghurt/plain yoghurt/quark
- Layer alternate layers of fruit, granola and granola in a dessert bowl or container.
